Making and buying jewellery that has 0 impact on the planet is a goal we should all be aiming for. There are so many semi-precious stones, beads, chains and wire we can work with that already have a life behind them, so my goal with AMC Jewellery is to create new life out of these. I use antique and charity shops, online selling platforms and donations from friends to create my pieces, as well as 100% Recycled Sterling Silver wire.
I like to create simple, minimalistic designs. I'm often inspired by line drawings for my wire work, or sometimes I come up with an idea and look online at how other jewellers have approached it. I also love it when customers have their own ideas for a piece and I can brainstorm with them.
I'm mainly looking for precious stones (I prefer smaller ones), pearls and sterling silver that I can melt down, or re-use!
